no matter your size, ability, gender, or age, #youcanyoga. this gentle vinyasa to yin class is for everyone. whether you’re living with chronic illness/pain, a trauma survivor, or just suffer from the stress of everyday life, this class will allow you to develop your own practice at your own pace. everyone is encouraged to meet their body’s needs with props, chairs, and modifications. from new students to those looking to build strength and flexibility, this class will help you build your own practice in order to empower yourself & gain all the benefits yoga has to offer.

Center & Flow Morning Vinyasa

Find your center as you drop into your flow. Annie’s mid-week morning practice is the perfect way to weave harmony into your week. Soulful, fluid movements are blended with gently energizing poses, leaving you feeling refreshed and rebalanced for the rest of the week!

Morning & Evening Yin Yoga & Reiki

Let Sonya guide you inward with this calming yin and reiki practice. Yin yoga balances the more active, yang style of yoga with slower, longer held poses that target the connective tissues in our bodies – ligaments, tendons and fascia. The poses are gentle and are held anywhere between 3-6 minutes each. The class is usually dimly lit with candles, essential oils, adjustments and reiki. You will feel restored and rejuvenated when you leave.

Mantrasana

Center and recharge with this restorative yoga class accompanied by the healing frequencies of the harmonium. Audrey’s chants and melodies allow you to slip into a deep relaxation while Annie guides you through a restorative practice to release tension throughout your body and quiet your mind. This deeply nourishing practice will allow your body, mind, and heart to gently unwind as you are transported inward.

You’re invited to stay after for morning tea.

Candlelit Restorative Yoga

Annie will offer a Restorative Yoga class, allowing twilight to take you to supreme restfulness before the week sets in!

This deeply relaxing practice is beneficial for every type of student. Each pose includes options for exploration, as well as guidance on the use of props for additional support.

Come enjoy an evening of unwinding!

Spoonie Yoga

Having a chronic illness/pain can make it feel impossible to do yoga, but it doesn’t have to be!

This donation-based class is tailored for those living with chronic illness and pain. All sizes, abilities, ages, and genders are welcome. Students are encouraged to meet their body’s needs with props and modifications. You will be guided through a gentle yin and restorative inspired practice with breathing exercises, poses, and meditation to help lessen the pain and symptoms of chronic illness and pain.

Come to each class with what you have that morning even if that means breathing in savasana the entire session. We’re building a community of support and understanding through movement.

Each class is 90 min long starting with a 45 minute restorative asana practice followed by a 45 minute community circle for those who wish to stay & participate.

Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan is the yoga of awareness. Through mantra, meditation, kriya (asana or postures), and deep relaxation we awaken to our full authentic creative potential. Connect to the wisdom of your higher self and the flow of infinity. Suitable for all fitness levels.

Flow Fundamentals

All are welcome, whether you’re brand new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner looking to refine your basics. We will begin with gentle postures linked to our breath to help connect the mind and body. The class will continue as we explore slow-paced movements and then end with seated and reclined poses. Come as you are knowing you’ll leave feeling calm and centered.

Hatha Yoga

This is a Hatha style, mixed level class, where you may work on your alignment, become comfortable with doing yoga while building strength and flexibility and learn relaxation techniques. Expect a slower stretching to medium paced asana practice (postures), with some basic pranayama (breathing exercises) and perhaps a meditation at the end. Essential oils and Reiki may also be offered.

Sound Journey

Let go of your week and drift into bliss with this soulful sound experience. Use this time to relax and recharge, to relieve stress in mind or body, or event to tap into your inner wisdom and realize positive shifts in consciousness. Begin this journey by tuning in to your own vibrational nature, exploring simple vocal tones that open up and sensitize different centers of the body. Then, relax comfortably on the floor in savasana, and become bathed in the healing sounds of Tibetan singing bowls and Chinese gongs. Sink beneath your thoughts into stillness within, as the vibrations from these instruments bring harmony and balance at every level. Carry this peaceful feeling long after you leave. This is a journey that only deepens with each experience so we offer it weekly.

Tips:

  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing
  • Drink plenty of water afterwards
  • Try not to plan anything demanding or high-excitement after this experience. Plan to rest
  • No prior experience needed

Restorative Yoga & Singing Bowls

Reset, renew, and retune before the week starts with this deeply nourishing restorative yoga class featuring the soothing sounds of Tibetan singing bowls and Chinese gongs. As you release into each passive pose, you’ll be enveloped by rich, meditative sounds that harmonize both the mind and body. During the final rest in savasana, you will be whisked away on a blissful sound journey that will leave you feeling deeply nourished and renewed.
